A psychoanalytic formation has as its base three fundamental aspects: personal analysis, continued formation and supervision of clinical cases.

Your personal analysis is of the highest importance to those who want to become a psychoanalyst. To take themselves through the process of an analysis, keep one’s continued formation throughout theoretical studies and supervision of clinical cases.

Psychoanalytic treatment

The Jardim Escuta Clinic—Psychoanalysis online clinic, is a private clinic that works as a physical clinic but adapted to the online work. Our main service is to offer psychotherapy treatment and a receptive listening to each singular aspect of human suffering. Every one of our professionals works from an ethical and practical standpoint, aligned with the Psychoanalysis. Click in the ‘Search professionals’ tab to find your therapist. With him / her you can schedule a first meeting to get to know each other and clarify any questions about the therapeutic process.

Study groups

The second fundamental aspect of a psychoanalytic formation is the continued study. For that, we from “Jardim Escuta” have as one of our services to provide study groups that aim to enable reading and discussions that sustain the clinical practice, as well as to bring ample reflections about our society and culture in which we live. In addition, this is a way to get in touch with the psychoanalysis to those who wish to go further in the subject, even without planning to become a therapist.

Clinical cases studies (Supervision)

The third fundamental aspect to sustaining clinical work is case supervisions. The idea behind a supervision is that the therapist can discuss his clinical cases with another colleague, in a way that his / her comprehension of the cases can be broadened, taking in account a third point of view. Jardim Escutaalso offers this service and chose to call it “co-insight”. This kind of supervision may lead to better conclusions; the one who “supervises” has a “broader and better vision” of the clinical situation, when in fact the supervisor has only a distant  and emphasizing vision on one or other points of the case, in a way that both “visions” can coexist. This service may be accessed either by groups or individually.
